Charlie Chaplin (1889–1977), British actor, screenwriter, director, and and Orson Welles. Monsieur Henri Verdoux (Charles Chaplin), Monsieur Verdoux, said to the priest (Fritz Lieber) who wants to say last rites before Verdoux is led off to the guillotine (1947).
