"Marcy." As quoted in The Girl I Left Behind, Introduction, by Jane O'Reilly (1980).
Marcy was a woman who called in to a late-night radio talk show on which O'Reilly appeared during a promotional tour for Ms. magazine. O'Reilly had spoken about the sexual politics of housework; a previous, male, caller had accused her of "contravening natural law." This was the next caller's response to him.
